Meet Scott
Hi, I'm Scott Goodrich, the owner of Scott's Good Detailing. My passion for clean, well-cared-for cars started when I was young, washing cars alongside my dad. Those simple moments - soap, water, and time spent together taught me the value of pride in your work and the joy that comes from seeing a car shine.
Today, I carry those same values into my own business and share them with my son and daughter when we wash cars together. For me, detailing isn't just about making vehicles look good - it's about family, cars, and creating something to be proud of.
I personally handle every detail, from interior and exterior cleaning to engine bay work, paint correction, paint sealant, and headlight restoration. My goal is simple ― to treat every vehicle as if it were my own and deliver results that leave it looking refreshed, protected, and ready to turn heads.
Whether you drive a daily commuter, a truck, or a weekend cruiser, I take pride in bringing out the best in your vehicle

Benefits of Protecting Your Clearcoat
1. Preserves Your Paint’s Gloss and Depth
Your clearcoat is what gives your paint its shine. Protecting it keeps that deep, reflective gloss longer, helping your vehicle look freshly detailed even months later.
2. Shields Against UV Damage and Oxidation
Sun exposure breaks down paint over time, causing fading and dullness. Wax, sealants, and ceramic coatings block harmful UV rays, preventing oxidation and color loss.
3. Repels Dirt, Water, and Contaminants
Protective layers make your surface slick — so water, mud, bird droppings, and bugs are less likely to stick or stain. This makes washing easier and faster.
4. Reduces Micro-Scratches and Swirl Marks
A quality protective layer adds a light barrier between your paint and the outside world. It helps reduce the risk of fine scratches from washing, drying, and daily driving.
5. Saves Money Over Time
Maintaining your clearcoat protection means fewer costly paint corrections or repaints down the road. A small investment in protection now prevents expensive damage later.
6. Boosts Resale Value
A well-maintained finish shows buyers your vehicle was cared for — making it look newer and often increasing its resale value.
